A man sits in a distant getaway cabin waiting for his wife Serena. Things in the cabin evoke memories, and the husband comes to a disturbing realization…

Serena is a short point-and-click adventure game/interactive story; it runs natively on GNU/Linux and you can get it for free on Steam.

The game/story will take about one hour to finish. There’s no save option (at least I didn’t find it) and if you press the escape key, the game will exit, and your progress will be lost, so be careful about that.

The story tends to be a bit spooky, but nothing too heavy. I recommend you to play it without distractions, possibly at night, to really get into the right mood.

Furthermore, SPOILERS ahead!

I think that game/story right now has a big potential to continue. I think next chapter in a series (providing there will be continuation) should allow you to haunt your killer, driving her into confession of murder. That would be something I haven’t seen in any game yet, so it would be unique and interesting experience.
