A process of creation is a state in which we're closest to ourselves. The process of painting is transforming our raw emotions onto canvas; the end result is a snapshot of our truest self.

Creative expression has always been an important aspect of my existence. I will not claim I've achieved technically superior products; I feel that's of secondary value. In the yesteryear of my life, there were sentiments I truly wanted to convey but had no capacity to express them with words, whether due to a lack of understanding or the difficulty of expression.

A remarkable aspect of art is its ability to transcend linguistic barriers and communicate on a symbolic level. Creating art is a trick we can play on ourselves, letting it all out in the most unaltered way, without uttering a single word.
